An eye for truly seeing and listening
Heleen de Mooij-Lubbers
Our ambassador, Heleen de Mooij-Lubbers, draws some of her inspiration from her father—former Prime Minister Ruud Lubbers—who would often ask, "May I think along with you?" She builds upon this with a question of her own: "May I take a look along with you?" With a touch of Rotterdam-style humor and a dash of self-deprecation, Heleen inspires students, directors, and everyone in between to view people, society, and education from a different perspective.
