Social return is more than just an obligation; it is an opportunity to create social value. The Museum of Humanity is a social enterprise that brings people together, highlights talent, and contributes to an inclusive society.
Through our projects, workshops, and gatherings, we transform SROI (Social Return on Investment) budgets into tangible impact for individuals, organizations, and municipalities. Together, we create space for greater understanding, equal opportunities, and connection.
Through 'I See You!' ('Ik zie jou!'), we bring newcomers and local residents together based on shared interests, work, or passions. These encounters are captured in striking portraits and personal stories. In doing so, we foster connection and build an inclusive community where everyone counts. With the help of your SROI (Social Return on Investment) contribution, we are able to bring this project to new municipalities.

Through School of Humanity, we provide workshops for students and training for teachers within practical secondary education, secondary special education, and entry-level vocational education (MBO level 1). By engaging in creative assignments focused on identity, self-confidence, and respect, young people discover that they are valued just as they are and that everyone matters. Your SROI contribution makes these workshops and training sessions possible.

Turn your team day into an experience that goes beyond mere collaboration. At the Museum of Humanity, discover how encounters, personal stories, and photography foster greater understanding and connection among colleagues from diverse backgrounds. Furthermore, your SROI (Social Return on Investment) contribution helps make social projects possible and creates opportunities for individuals who face barriers to entering the labor market.
Humanity at Work
"Many organizations have contracts with municipalities that include a mandatory SROI (Social Return on Investment) component. As a recognized social enterprise and a member of Social Enterprise Nederland, the Museum of Humanity offers an excellent opportunity to put these funds to socially meaningful use.
For instance, you could host a team day at the museum and allocate a portion of the invoice toward SROI, or contribute funds that enable us to carry out projects for newcomers, students in vocational or special education, and disadvantaged youth. My experience with this has been fantastic. Would you like to know how it works? Please feel free to get in touch."
Koel Jeugdzorg used SROI funds to contribute to the 'Ik zie jou!' ('I See You!') exhibition in Hoorn.
